# Discounted Fee Trading

You can opt-in to trade at 0.5% marketplace fees, the lowest across HyperEVM.

If you decide to opt-in within the user settings:

* 0.5% becomes your marketplace fee
* Another 0.5% of sale proceeds goes towards a market-buy of $JPEG, which is then vaulted in your Delegated Hyper.

It's up-only tech, unlocked on Drip Trade.

**Delegated Hypers**

Your Delegated Hyper is the [ERC-H20 Hypers](https://drip.trade/collections/hypers) NFT that you chose in your settings to hold your vaulted $JPEG.

**Eligibility**

Anyone may opt-in to Discounted Fee Trading

Simply turn it on in your user settings.

As long as the H20 Hypers NFT remains in your wallet, discounted trading will remain enabled.

> Example:<br>
>
> You’ve opted into Discounted Fee Trading.\
> You list an NFT for **10 $HYPE** and someone buys It.
>
> Normally, you’d pay a **2% marketplace fee** (0.2 $HYPE), leaving you with **9.8 $HYPE,** not counting creator fees.
>
> But since you’ve opted in:
>
> * You pay only a **0.5% fee** (0.05 $HYPE).
> * Another **0.5%** (0.05 $HYPE) is used to **market-buy $JPEG** and **vault into your Delegated Hyper**.
>
> So you effectively receive:
>
> * **9.9 $HYPE** in proceeds
> * Plus **$JPEG** worth **0.05 $HYPE**, locked in your Hyper
> * **Total value returned: 9.95 $HYPE.**

We use **LiquidSwap** to source the best on-chain swap route at the time of sale. If no optimal route is returned, we default to a preconfigured pool. Slippage is set to 8% for the swap to $JPEG. If a swap can't proceed within the defined parameters, we default to a standard 2% marketplace fee.
